As an all-volunteer organization, FOVEC works to enhance the village as defined by our Vision and its members. While we do our best to stay on top of everything in the village, sometimes things slip through the cracks. You say you have been discussing this project for months, yet we couldn't find anyone who knew about it. We do monthly Live Updates, publish regular updates on our Website, and hold monthly Board Meetings that are open to the public to encourage cooperation and transparency among the residents and merchants. If we had known of your plans, we would have gladly shared our opinion and assisted you in getting community feedback before you invested in this project. We can't change how we arrived at this point. Still, we would welcome the opportunity to work towards solutions that allow O Cafe to continue to grow and prosper while respecting the needs and opinions of the community.

We have completed the audit of the survey inputs and have eliminated 7 survey responses because they were either duplicate entries or the email used could not be verified. The final results of the survey are as follows: Unique responses • A public space should not be used for the singular benefit of a private entity. It must be removed. • Does it have a permit? Possibly acceptable during Covid but otherwise needs review on aesthetics and parking impacts. • Eyesore, parking always needed in gold Fair Oaks • I agree with FOVEC the new structure is an eye sore and should be removed. • I honestly thought there was temporary construction taking place. I flabbergasted... • Is ugly as can be and takes way parking from other stores. • It doesn't seem practical. It has no awning or umbrellas and is far too close to traffic. • Ok while construction so they don’t lose business. Not attractive. • Parking spaces are already limited. I think it's great that they can expand, but they are causing further parking issues. Other businesses are claiming parking spots. Is that even legal? • Post COVID, I don't see the need. It's not attractive and I worry about setting a precedent for other businesses. • Really? I live right here in the village and the unsightly, weed infested temporary fencing …while we wait and wait for improvements is a much more urgent issue that a business that is bringing in many many visitors to our area. As much as it is not an attractive addition, let’s not go after a reason to come to our village. I eat at the Brew Pub and have to look at a disaster area that has sat stagnant for quite some time! Street Parking is too important to eliminate • street parking is public right of way, not to be used by private company use/profit; they should have installed the patio on their property behind their building; does it have a county permit? remove! • takes away parking. The design doesn't fit ! Idea good - but needs to be Village agreenent to make the whole street tie into to the plan.. • I think it's a good option for this business, who has very limited seating area. • Outdoor seating is a "must have" in Fair Oaks & definitely needed in this end of town! • I like the idea, but the terrace has no personality • I love O Cafe but they could put umbrellas and tables on nearby sidewalk space. • why are you so negative against businesses • Will walk by tomorrow and send follow up :-). Rebecca, unfortunately, the Old Library doesn't have wifi, so online viewing isn't possible. Once the park construction is complete, we can offer our board meetings online. FOVEC Sponsorship Levels and Benefits It is proposed we adopt a sponsorship program that encourages people to increase their donations during the year in return for greater recognition and benefits. In addition, I would propose FOVEC create a Sponsorship Certificate that would be presented to each Sponsor suitable for framing and display in their business. If this proposal is approved, the following people/groups would be impacted: • Treasure - would need to track donations and report on levels • Outreach - would need to update the website, social media posts, Live Updates • Event Chairs - would need to ensure signage and recognition The proposal recommends approval ASAP with Sponsorship levels resetting on an annual (calendar year) basis (i.e., sponsors need to donate each year to maintain their level).

Village Guide Window Decals This proposal is to print window stickers/decals for Village stores that promote our free Village Guide. The proposed decal, measuring 3x3 inches is shown here (low res): The cost would be about $0.70/decal and the proposal is to order 100 of them for free distribution to business owners in the Village.

Today I was able to reconcile all the places we capture membership data and update Wave, Google Contacts, and create a FOVEC Membership workbook to more easily report on membership status. I will work with Dominik to document: 1. New member capture 2. Member payment 3. Member status reporting In our FOVEC Handbook.
