FOVEC, along with local property, business owners, and concerned citizens, have been contacting the County for several weeks regarding the cars parked in the lot across from the North end of the Village.
We believe these cars violate several County codes, and the owner didn't seek permission before acting. As a local business owner who was delayed by several months trying to get permits from the County, it appears they prefer the ask forgiveness approach to the get permission approach.
What do you think?

Thanks for your email. I was in the Village last weekend, so I was able to take a look at the property and the issues you highlighted.
The property owner has applied for a research request to determine the legality of car parking and storage on 7953 Winding Way. We will be completing our analysis within the next few days, and if you’d like, we can send you a copy of the determination. Best regards,

Because FOVEC works closely with the County on issues like this, we know the most potent tool is direct citizen feedback. The County keeps track of how many people contact them and it influences how they prioritize their actions. If you agree that having these cars dumped in this lot is a problem, please call, email, or write Chris Pahule at the address below and encourage your neighbors to do likewise.

Excellent news. The more this portion of county government hears from FOVEC about possible land use violations the better. The county planners as professionals need to be kept aware of the potential of the Village as a community resource. As Keith points out, there is a ‘vision plan’ for the Village. It doesn’t include making the Village into a vehicle storage area.
